F.A.Q

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to give you a design?

No. We would come out to you and measure and see what you have in mind for the space and we would come up with a design that suits you.

How long does a project take?

It all depends. It depends how busy we are, it depends on whether we are designing the room or not, it depends on what materials you use, but saying that, normally from the time a quote is accepted, it takes about 4 – 5 weeks.

Do you only do kitchens?

No not at all !! We do any and all rooms.

What will my new kitchen or bathroom cost?

Yet again, that all depends on you. What materials you choose as well as the finishes. But we understand we all have a budget to stick to so we work closely with you and hand in hand we decide on the finishes and materials until you are satisfied and accept the quote.

Where do I begin?

Give us a call and together we can help complete your perfect room.

What do I need to do to prepare for my bathroom or kitchen renovation?

You need to have a basic idea what you would like it to look like once renovated, then you give us a call and we take it from there.

Can I purchase my own products to use in a kitchen and bathroom renovation by JAM Design?

You can, but we do not recommend it as we have a well trained fitment team that knows how our products need to be installed for the best results. If you buy from us and we do not install – there is no warranty.

What does your quote include?

As much or as little as you want it to. But generally it includes everything, from the cupboards, handles and even the hinges. We also have a third party that does Stone.

Do you provide a guarantee and do your sub-contractors have insurance?

We don’t give a guarantee as such but if something brakes (without being abused) we are willing to come out and repair it. We only use reputable third parties.

Do I need to be home while the renovation is taking place?

No you don’t, we have a trustworthy team. But it is always advisable – just to make sure.
